Who else is ready to break free from their comfort zone and transform their life?
It’s not easy. Growth is uncomfortable. But stepping beyond what feels safe and familiar brings three powerful things:
✅ Growth – You stretch yourself in new ways, gaining knowledge and confidence.
✅ Confidence – Each step forward builds resilience and self-trust.
✅ Clarity – You see what truly matters and where your energy is best spent.

For so many years, I quietly did my research, made healthier swaps for my family, and kept it all behind closed doors. It was challenging and often times I felt alone. I feared the comments, the judgment, and honestly, I didn’t yet have strong enough boundaries to stand firm in my beliefs.
But over time, I saw more and more families struggling. Moms overwhelmed, unsure where to start, feeling lost in a sea of misleading marketing and hidden ingredients. They were desperate for answers—just like I once was. And that’s when I knew I had to step up.
Fast forward to today, my daughters are now navigating this broken food system on their own. And let me tell you—it’s not easy. We are asking young adults to make choices in a world stacked against them, one that fosters chronic disease, metabolic dysfunction, and long-term health struggles. But knowledge is power, and I’ve seen firsthand how much of a difference education and awareness can make. We need a top down and a bottom up approach.
A Powerful Week for Change
This week, we saw so many states stepping up for their people—and Florida was one of them!
On Thursday, I had the incredible opportunity to head to the Capitol with my mini-me to witness history in the making. Passionate leaders, lawmakers, and advocates came together to pave the way for a healthier tomorrow.
Seeing a few great leaders of this movement speak from different lenses on the same topic was inspiring.
A new bill HB 641 was introduced that would require warning labels on all products containing synthetic dyes. This is a huge step forward in giving consumers the knowledge they need to make informed choices. But that wasn’t the only win…
A second bill SB560 is pushing for an even bigger change—one that would ban synthetic dyes and several other harmful chemicals across the entire state. If passed, food establishments would be required to use dye-free alternatives. And here’s the kicker:
🌎 Many companies already have cleaner, dye-free formulas for other countries with stricter food policies. If they can do it there, they can do it here!
This is not just a Florida movement. We are now 20+ states deep in working toward laws that support better health for our families. People are waking up. Change is happening. And it all starts with awareness, advocacy, and action.
What’s Next?
The momentum is building, and I truly believe we are just getting started. More voices are speaking up, more parents are demanding better, and more lawmakers are listening. Please take a minute to sign and share our petition to show you want change!
So, I’ll ask again—are you in a phase of life where you’re ready to step outside your comfort zone? Maybe that means making healthier swaps for your family, speaking up at your child’s school, or even just having more conversations about the hidden dangers in our food system.
Every small step adds up. If you are looking for information on how to read labels or where to start when it comes to resetting your pantry, check out the Resource Page on my website. Every voice matters. And together, we are shifting the future for the next generation.
Let’s keep going. 💛
