From Curiosity to Commitment
I have always been interested in healthy living. But it wasn’t until I became a mom that my interest turned into a lifestyle transformation.
Twenty years ago, a nutrition class at my local gym introduced me to the hidden dangers of High Fructose Corn Syrup and Hydrogenated Oils. That day changed everything. I went home, did a full pantry sweep, and was shocked at how little we had left.
With my first daughter in tow, I set out on a mission—to replace processed foods with healthier alternatives.
Discovering the Power of Small Changes
As my family grew, so did my awareness. My daughters faced various challenges—eczema, allergies, digestive discomfort, and behavioral issues. I started making small adjustments to our diet and lifestyle, searching for ways to bring balance into our lives.
Through trial and error, I learned that wellness isn’t one-size-fits-all. Even in my own family of four, we all have different needs, preferences, and sensitivities. What worked for one of us didn’t always work for another.
But one thing remained constant—every small change we made led to better health, more energy, and greater balance.
A Holistic Approach to Wellness
Over the years, my passion expanded beyond food. I became deeply interested in the products we use on our bodies, the way we move, and how we cultivate joy—what I call “Primary Foods.”
This holistic approach inspired me to take the next step. Becoming an Integrative Health Coach gave me the tools to help others create sustainable health transformations.
Guiding Others Through the 1% Shift Method
As a former teacher, I’ve always loved educating, guiding, and encouraging others. Now, I bring that same passion into coaching. Through my 1% Shift Method, I help people make small, manageable changes that lead to lasting transformation—without restrictive diets.
My goal? To help families and individuals achieve better health and a balanced life.

Beyond coaching, I have found another passion—podcasting! I love connecting with amazing experts, thought leaders, and everyday people who share insights on health and wellness.
