Want Better Health? Start by Doing Something Different

That phrase — do something different — it’s been echoing in my soul lately.
I say it often when I’m talking about health and wellness, but let’s be real… it applies to everything.

If you’re not getting the result you want — in your health, your energy, your peace, your JOY — then maybe it’s time to pause and ask:

What if I did something different?


The Gentle Wake-Up Call

I know that change can be hard. Especially when it comes to food.
One place I will always circle back to (because it matters so deeply) is ingredients.

We must understand what we’re putting into our bodies.
This is one of the simplest and most powerful 1% shifts we can make — but truthfully? It’s also where I get the most pushback.

And I get it.
Because sometimes, when we learn to read labels and understand what’s really in our food, it’s like a veil is lifted.
And that can feel overwhelming… even scary.

But I promise you this:

Awareness is the first step to freedom. Not shame.
Not guilt.
Just curiosity and love.


A Real-Life Example – Let me show you how small shifts can start

I grabbed two Similar Chips

1 Not so Clean Brand, Lays. Ingredients: Potatoes, Vegetable Oil (Canola, Corn, Soybean, And/Or Sunflower Oil), Sugar, Salt, Dextrose, Maltodextrin (Made From Corn), Molasses, Torula Yeast, Natural Flavors, Onion Powder, Spices, Tomato Powder, Paprika, Corn Starch, Paprika Extracts, Caramel Color, Yeast Extract, Garlic Powder, And Mustard Seed Oil.

1 Better for you Brand, Siete. Ingredients: Potatoes, Avocado Oil, Ground Dates, Sea Salt, Distilled White Vinegar Powder, Chipotle Powder, Tomato Powder, Onion Powder, Citric Acid, Black Pepper, Garlic Powder, Parsley Powder, Red Chile Powder. *not derived from mold


I highlighted some ingredients that made had red flags popping up! jsut a few of the big NOs I see is Natural Flavors (which is a loophole term to hide chemicals), Veg Oil-Inflammatory, Carmel Color (food dye, need I say more)!

That’s why we have to look — not assume.
That’s why we have to read — not just trust packaging.
