Very few people have impacted my life as Robin has. I have been able to implement and sustain the information I learned from her. Since working with Robin over a year ago I have lost 40 pounds, been able to get off multiple mental health medications,  start my own business, and maintain a well rounded healthy diet. She taught me how to read ingredient labels and make informed decisions about what I put in my body, and the importance of having balance in other areas of my life. Her kind, gentle, professional, knowledgeable, and non judge mental nature helps to make her the very best at what she does. I never felt afraid to share negative thoughts or when I had some bumps in the road. I truly feel blessed to have had the opportunity to work with Robin. Thank you Robin for all you do. You are truly an angel!

I am incredibly grateful for the time that you have shared and given to me, it is a true gift. Perhaps knowing you made it easier for me to be vulnerable in ways that helped get to the heart at what was needed in order for me to make what I feel is a life long shift.  While it is a change, I use the word shift because change to some people feels so big, I know it did for me.  I have struggled with my weight and body image my ENTIRE life.  It started when I was younger and really didn’t get “better” until I hit the magical age of 40. While I was loving and accepting myself more, I was still battling the dark voice that I would hear when I looked in the mirror or tried on clothes or worse, put on a bathing suit.

I was always searching for the quick fix or the magic pill or diet that would “change” me into the thinner version I thought I needed to be in order to be happy.  I have been on a journey of learning that happiness and self acceptance is completely an inside job and starting to work with you came at the perfect time. You helped bring to life the things I have been reading about and helped me shift my perspective to make incremental shifts that have added up to a new way of living.  While I am probably at my heaviest weight wise at the moment and my heart is heavy with the grief of the passing of my mom, Frances and Ava, I love myself the most I ever have.

This past year with your encouragement, education and grace, I have shifted my life onto a path that I want to be on going forward emotionally, spiritually and physically.  You have held such sacred space for me and that allowed me to be my most vulnerable to uncover the “why’s” behind my thinking and therefore doing of nutrition and health.  I had come a long way on that path already, but you were a much needed Sherpa at the right time, helping me traverse higher up the mountain.  Not only climb the mountain, but look back to see how far I’ve come.  As a recovering perfectionist, it is hard for me to do that.  I constantly have my eye on the next goal, the next accomplishment and rarely take time to look back to see how far I’ve come.  That was a huge change for me.

I was just looking at your website and your logo hits what you do spot on “healing from the inside out”.  Not only is this physically what you have helped me do by looking at food and nutrition to heal my physical body, but also the emotional and spiritual healing that was needed (which is all inside).  These changes (yes I meant to say change there) are monumental for me and will make their way on the outside.  I have shifted my perspective away from the number on the scale as well as the number on the label of my jeans to how I feel.  I noticed yesterday as I walked, grocery shopped, prepared my smoothies and planed out meals, I felt JOY doing it.  It was not a dreadful diet I was starting at the beginning of the year to overcome the sins of eating too much sugar, fat and crap over the holidays.  I know how I FEEL when I listen to my body and eat what it needs.  I can feel gratitude for what the food is doing for my body on the inside and can then feel how my body moves differently.  More importantly my mood is better, my perspective on life is different. 

While food and nutrition is a big part of it, so are my emotions and my connection to others as well as the divine.  Working with you has helped me see these as all interconnected.  Sitting with my feelings, knowing that they are all clouds that pass in the sky of my mind, reminds that they are all impermanent.  It also helps me love and accept all the ways that I feel.  Even the negative emotions serve me in a way.  They help me see that there may be something more to examine and perhaps reframe the way I think or see them.  They also give me the contrast to really love when I feel positive emotions.  We cannot appreciate a sunny day without a few cloudy days.  We need variety and emotions give us that. 

My connection to my children, others and mother nature has deepened as well.  All of these feed my soul and they are just as important (if not more important) that what is on my plate.  There can be too much sugar and inflammation in relationships.  Drawing and maintaining boundaries is just as important as eating whole foods.  As you know this past year was a HUGE shift in boundaries with my mom.  Working with you helped me through that and even though from time to time I feel pangs of regret for time lost with my mom while maintaining healthy boundaries, I know it was one of my biggest lessons learned.  If I can maintain a health boundary with her and still hold love, I can do with in all areas of my life. Which leads me to quitting my job.  This was another HUGE milestone for me this past year and you helped me get to the space and place I needed to be to pull the trigger.  This was also an unhealthy boundary I needed to change.  I know that when I go into my next job, I will lay down a new foundation with who I am today with all the lessons I’ve learned.

I am thankful that you chose me to work with you.  You are a gifted teacher.  You are relatable and easy to talk to.  You ensure that I really understand what you are sharing with me.  You give the grace and space needed for me to uncover the why’s behind my thoughts and feeling towards my nutrition habits. You have changed my life and I will be forever grateful.

My top goals were to stop standing while I was eating, drink more water, eat less processed foods, and be more consistent with movement. My coach was able to help me work toward these goals by breaking the goals down bi-weekly, circling back around to all the top goals again and again. She did this in a loving and encouraging way. The most significant tangible thing I noticed is awareness. A willingness to eat healthier even if its not everyday all day. The shifts I have made are drinking more water, joining Pilates and thinking about meals, not skipping meals. Robin is nonweldable, tactful and emotionally intelligent. I would recommend her to anyone looking to make healthy shifts  with food and lifestyle.

My goals were to learn more about the Mediterranean lifestyle and how to implement it, achieve improved overall health and gain weigh.

Robin taught me the essentials of the Mediterranean diet and lifestyle and gave me practical tips to make healthy swaps to achieve a healthier lifestyle one step at a time. She taught me new cooking methods, how to create more balanced meals and how my other habits, such as working late or having poor sleep hygiene, affect my health as well. I have been underweight my whole life, but with Robin I learned to journal and pay attention to what I eat and how it makes me feel,, and ive also learned how to incorporate more nutrient dense foods for more balanced meals, which has helped me maintain a healthier weight and have more energy. The most significant overall change I noticed si that I feel better physically and mentally. Robin taught me to seek more joy in my life, which has helped me reduce stress and get though very difficult times. 

Robin is caring and a good communicator as well as a great listener. She is passionate not only about health, but about people and their overall wellbeing. Robin is great at helping peoplr find practical solutions to meet their health goals. Robin also affirms her clients and encourages grace, which helps clients build confidence as they work toward their goals.  I would recommend Robin to anyone wanting to improve their life and health.

Your support has helped me get through a very challenging time and the tools you taught me are helping me to feel better, stronger, more energetic, more positive and hopeful and healthier overall.
